In 2018, Intuit acquired TSheets.
Sherman Oaks Accounting & Bookkeeping powered by One Source Services, Inc. had been integrating TSheets with QuickBooks Online long before the acquisition and was really excited about two of our favorite products moving under one umbrella!
Intuit hoped the deal would make “manual time tracking a thing of the past.”
TSheets is ideal for businesses with hourly employees who work remotely or switch jobs or locations regularly.
Employees use their own familiar devices to record times quickly and easily with convenient clock in/out reminders, breaks and overtime alerts to keep employers in the loop.
Employees can clock-in and out on their mobile phone, tablet, desktop, or laptop, using iPhone or Android apps, text message or dial-in.
TSheets accurately tracks time even when an employee’s device is offline or out of service and will automatically sync when back in range.
It’s one way to ensure that employees are paid for time worked, not time scheduled, with easy QuickBooks Online timesheet data syncs for faster, simpler payroll processing.
There’s even a dial-in Spanish option.
In addition to their awesome employee time and location tracking, the TSheets app can also help with scheduling.
TSheets allows employers to build and share schedules with staff, assign jobs and shifts, and it is automatically tied-in to employee time and location tracking, as it should be.
Employers can easily copy and edit previous schedules and employees won’t see it until the schedule is published.
Schedules can be modified or created with drag-and-drop shifts that can be edited, deleted or added on the go using a mobile device.
Employees receive notifications when their new schedules are published or if a shift is changed.
It also allows employers to schedule by job or project instead of shift, if needed. Simply drag and drop an appointment to the new time slot or edit the job from a mobile device to assign a job or project to an employee.
Employees are notified of new appointments in real time via text, e-mail or mobile device push notifications.
The “Who’s Working” window allows all employees to see who is available to take a new job and where they currently are on one map.
TSheets has a cool new feature that will help employees to share and record information directly from a job site.
Employees can attach photos with notes to timesheets, right from their mobile device! Imagine how useful it would be to attach before-and-after photos, photos of job sites, photos of invoices or receipts, document tools used, broken equipment, completed jobs, and more.
TSheets is a useful tool that has enabled many Sherman Oaks Accounting & Bookkeeping powered by One Source Services, Inc. clients to save money on payroll processing, time and location tracking.
